NorthStar Value Group
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NorthStar Value Group, LLC (“NorthStar Value Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website, enroll in The Exit Code Course (the “Course”), join the NorthStar Value Group community, or use any of the four diagnostic tools described on the course page. By using this site or the Course, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the ordinary course of providing an educational program and a free community. The categories below describe what we typically collect and why.
Information you provide directly
- Enrollment information. When you enroll in the Course through our payment link, we receive your name, email address, and payment details as needed to process the transaction and grant access.
- Community and diagnostic tool inputs. When you join the NorthStar Value Group community or take the Value Builder Score, PREScore, FreedomScore, or Owner Intent Profile™, you may submit your name, email, and your assessment answers so the tools can produce your results and personalized report.
- Account correspondence. If you contact us about your enrollment, a refund, or the Roundtable, we keep a record of those communications to help you.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location, and the pages you view. We use this to keep the site working and understand, in aggregate, how the program is used.
2. Payment Information
The Course is a one-time purchase of $495. Enrollment is handled through our third-party payment provider. We do not collect or store your full card number or other sensitive payment data on our own systems. The payment provider processes the transaction under its own security standards and terms, and it provides us with the information we need to confirm your purchase and grant lifetime access to the course.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process your enrollment, deliver the Course, and grant lifetime access.
- To provide and score the four diagnostic tools and return your personalized results.
- To operate the NorthStar Value Group community and, if you choose, apply your Course purchase toward a future Growth and Exit Roundtable enrollment.
- To respond to your questions, refund requests, and support needs.
- To send you important notices about your access, course updates, and new trainings or tools added to the free community over time.
- To maintain, improve, and secure the site and the program.
4. The Diagnostic Tools
The four diagnostic tools — the Value Builder Score, PREScore, FreedomScore, and Owner Intent Profile ™ — are included at no extra cost as part of the free NorthStar Value Group community. The answers you submit are used to generate your score, report, or clarity document. The Owner Intent Profile is a guided, AI-assisted reflection of about 25–30 minutes; your responses are processed to produce your personalized document and are handled consistent with this Policy. Keep in mind that these tools are educational self-assessments, not professional financial, tax, legal, or valuation advice.
5. Audio, Podcast, and Community Access
Every lesson includes an audio version playable inside the course, and a private podcast link lets you listen through Spotify or your own podcast app. When you connect a third-party app, that platform may handle some data under its own privacy policy. The NorthStar Value Group community may also use a platform that manages its own member data; your use of that community is subject to that platform’s terms and privacy practices in addition to this Policy.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the program — for example, with our payment processor, the platform that hosts the course and community, the podcast distribution service, and the tools that score the assessments. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business. Each service provider we use is expected to handle your information under its own applicable privacy standards.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can choose not to provide certain information, though that may limit your ability to enroll or use specific tools. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about this Policy, contact us through the information provided below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8. Data Retention and Security
We retain your information for as long as you have access to the Course and the community — in the case of the Course, that means lifetime access — and for as long afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, or operational requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Course and the community are intended for business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
This site and the course may contain links to or rely on third-party services such as Spotify, podcast apps, payment providers, and the platforms that host the community and assessments. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies when you use them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version here. Your continued use of the site or the Course after a change means you accept the revised Policy.
12. Contact Us
